Tell Manufacturing’s 8300B ALARM is a Grade 1 rim exit device for commercial applications. The 8300B ALM series is surface mounted and will fit on doors 36 in. W. This rim panic will work on doors 1-3/4 in. to 2 in. thick and has an aluminum finish. The alarm panic complies ANSI A156.3 and can accommodate wood or metal doors. The alarm unit has an internal horn. When the push rail is depressed, the horn sounds to provide an audible means of signaling that the door has been opened and violated. The key switch to turn the alarm off is a standard 1-1/4 in. mortise cylinder with SCC keyway and is provided with this unit. This unit also includes the Emergency exit only, Alarm will sound decal for application on the door unit.
