The Global Door Controls touch/panic bar is a 32 in. exit device in an aluminum finish. The touch bar is suitable for all doors (aluminum, hollow metal or wood) where there is no projection on the face. Manufactured of extruded anodized aluminum with stainless steel springs, it is durable enough for the most demanding applications. A rim cylinder is not included.
- Latch: stainless steel, 3/4 in. throw – 5/8 in. deadlatch
- Backset: 2-3/4 in. covers 161 prep, includes latch and strike filter plates
- Strike: surface-mounted for 5/8 in. stop with shim
- Handing: reversible, non-handed
- Door width: 36 in. (can be field-sized to 30 in.)
- Mounting height: recommended installation at 41 in. from finished floor to center of push rail
- Stile: 4-1/4 in. minimum
- Door thickness: 1-3/4 in. standard
- Dogging: 1/2 turn hex key
- Fasteners: furnished with sheet metal and machine screws
