Somfy Complete Sensor Station Mast

The Complete Sensor Station Mast provides real-time weather information to an animeo IP systemfor window coverings to react to current weather conditions. The Complete Sensor Station consists ofan aluminum mast with pre-mounted and pre-wired Outside Sensor Box, 4 Sun Sensors, 1 Wind SpeedSensor and 1 Outside Temperature Sensor. Included sensors detect sun intensity level, wind speed andoutside temperature from one main location of a building. The sensors send this weather informationthrough the Outside Sensor Box to an intelligent animeo network to operate window coverings based oncomfort functions or energy savings programmed into the animeo network. This Sensor Station featuresa complete design using UV resistant ABS plastic material and aluminum to withstand extreme weatherconditions. The Complete Sensor Station can be equipped with 6 additional sensors such as sun sensorsand a rain sensor.

Flexible Sensor Options

• Sensor station includes 4 sun intensity sensors, 1 temperature sensor, 1 wind sensor and an Outside Sensor Box.

Automatic Sensor Communication

• Sensor signals from the Complete Sensor Station are sent through the Outside Sensor box directly to the Building Controller in real time.
• All input and output commands and status are always available for convenience.

Simple Installation

• Mounting options include an upright stand which could be mounted on the roof of a building or side brackets which allow mounting to the side of a building.
• Once the sensor station is mounted the only connection required is the Cat5 cable which carries the power and data to and from the Building Controller.
