Super Seal Oil Pump Cover Kit (30mm High-Volume)[Vanagon]

If you have previously upgraded your original 24mm waterboxer oil pump with a high-volume 30mm pump from GoWesty, you can further improve the system with our Super Seal pump cover.

Traditional oil pump covers are somewhat flimsy and not terribly flat. They do the job but have a tendency to leak. Our upgraded design features a thicker cover material that is hardened, flat-ground, and zinc-plated for a perfectly smooth and durable finish. This is exactly what you need to help keep your engine oil where it belongs: inside your engine! To prevent interference from the adjacent water pipe, we have counterbored the plate and included four 10.9 Grade low-profile socket head bolts. Additionally, new O-ring grooves (for our DuroGreen O-rings) have been incorporated to enhance thread sealing alongside the traditional crush washers.

Pro tip:On our rebuilds, we dont use any of the gaskets that come in the box with the pump. Between the engine block and pump housing we usesealing compound.
